3D printing of plastics using the SLS method is suitable for the creation of functional or visual prototypes, and where a higher mechanical load is expected or high temperature resistance and top quality surface are required.

The 3D plastic printing process using the SLS method has the advantage over other methods (e.g. FDM) in excellent homogeneity of prints and excellent mechanical properties compared to most competing plastic printing methods. It is therefore suitable for the production of functional parts. Functional units or individual components printed by the SLS method from polyamide powders are popularly used in the automotive industry. We are also able to glue and color the printed parts if necessary.

We print only from materials supplied by EOS. These materials represent polyamides or composite materials that are suitable for the creation of functional prototypes due to their resulting properties. Prototypes created in this way can be an alternative to more expensive metal alloy printing or to prototyping using conventional methods.

At the customer's request, we are also able to print from other available EOS-certified powdered plastics in long-term cooperation:

The characteristics of the powder plastics (mechanical, physical and chemical properties) are available on the manufacturer's website. If you are interested in 3D printing with plastic or for consultation on this topic, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Equipment used for 3D printing of plastics

For the construction of plastic parts we use two professional 3D printers EOS P396 and one EOS P110 Velocis, belonging to the latest generation of SLS 3D printers. This is especially evidenced by the resulting accuracy and quality of the printed parts. According to the independent portal 3Dhubs.com, the EOS P396 and P110 Velocis are absolute leaders among similar SLS machines.
